Portrait of Kieran Green, industrial designer

Hi, I'm Kieran Green.

Industrial Design student at SCAD, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I work where craft meets engineering: from sketches to products you can hold.

01 — Origin

Rebuilt a car. Learned what constraints feel like.

Hands deep in an engine bay, nothing is arbitrary. Every material choice, every tolerance, every fastener is a decision with a consequence you can feel. Good design is engineering made honest and beautiful.

02 — Experience

Sold bikes. Learned what users actually need.

At Mike's Bikes I watched real people explore real products and make real decisions. Spec sheets mean little at that moment. The gap between design intentions and what a user experiences: that's where thoroughness matters.

03 — Instinct

Built a chair. Learned how form and engineering work together.

With no adhesives or fasteners allowed, you learn how unbroken form is strong- especially when your design literally carries weight. Good design is more than just eye candy: it lifts you up.

Manifesto

Design isn't about changing everything at once.
It's about making everyday moments just a little better,
one product at a time.

If this resonates, let's talk.
